What Is The Windshield Repair Process?

Windshield repairs are the process of masking damage to a vehicles windshield by injecting a special resin into the damaged area. The resin then bonds to the glass, restoring the look and strength of the windshield and causing the visible damage to almost disappear.

However, not all damaged windshields can be repaired. If the damaged area is large, or if the windshield has already had 2 or more repairs, the windshield must be replaced.
